Seanday Shorts: Professional Taker, pt2

As I made my way back to Garrett's home, his mobile buzzed in my pocket. It was a message, from Duncan, Garrett's boyfriend.

*Working late, don't wait up*

I tapped out a reply drawing on Garrett's feelings, *ok, miss you babe.*

It was kind of a relief; not having to deal with other peoples relationships. But inside I could feel Garrett's disappointment.

When I got back I knew a shower was what I needed. Off came the sweater, the t-shirt. I wriggled out of my shorts and caught sight of Garrett in the mirror.

He was kinda cute. I could understand why Duncan; or Dunc', had fallen for him.

Throwing the vest to the floor, I paused for a moment looking back at the mess I'd made. Sighing, I went back and picked up the clothes. Garrett was whispering in my head; *he's got a thing about tidying up*. I'd usually shut out the voices, but I liked having Garrett around. For once, I was getting a buzz from his excitement, of being controlled. He thought I was his friend Ray, and why should I spoil that thrill for him.

The master becomes the pupil.

There were 4 of us who started a new job last Wednesday and 2 'supervisors' who were there to train us apparently. There was Me, (28) Matt (22) Karl (27) and Josh (19) the 2 supervisors were Ben (26) and John (48). There was no similarity to any of us and we all wondered why the our particular group had been picked, the only thing we could think of was that we were all quite young and reasonably fit. We had all been discussing previous experiences, again no similarities,  and the interview, we all thought we had done very badly at the interview. I think I was the only one with a special gift; at least no one else had dared to mention it. 

Seanday Shorts: Professional Taker, pt1

I'd just arrived in the town. I had a job to do, the local police had been causing problems, and I'd been employed to smooth their edges.

I took a picture of myself, it helped me remember what I looked like on these assignments. Just because I was a Taker, it didn't mean that I couldn't look after myself. When I wasn't working, I kept out of other people--I grinned at my reflection--mostly, and enjoyed training at the gym.

It's not all fun. Being a handsome fuck, such as I am, I tend to attract attention. So I always slip on a local identity, someone well known--that's always a bonus. That's why I never need to pack much.

I've scheduled a two parter in for the 21st and 28th September, but after that it'll be Take a Chance.

Seanday Shorts: The Taker

It had been a good game, we'd won the series. It had been fun being in Tyler for the past six months, but I wanted a change.

I pulled off my shirt and pads, all heavy with sweat and relaxed on the floor listening to some music.

As soon as I took Tyler, I noticed his thick heavy odour. He didn't use deodorant, and from his memories I realised it didn't affect his ability to pick someone up.

He'd been alone, walking back from the gym when I found him. Tapping him on the shoulder he turned and looked at me. He wasn't going to run, or defend himself. He could sense what I was; a taker.

Brozek’s driver looked up as we approached. “Take me back, Bunny’s broken the kid,” I said jerking my head at Jeremy.

The driver frowned, “Fucking typical, I was going to get him next.”

“Just shut up, and drive,” I growled as we got in the car. I looked at Jeremy, his eyes were wide. “You OK?” He nodded, and forced a smile.

The driver kept his mouth shut for the rest of the journey--smart.
