The Date

By Carlos Palanca

“You’re going down, man!” exclaimed Lucas as he turned his black cap around, putting the visor behind his head.

“Oh, please!” replied Conner. “You couldn’t beat me even if your life depended on it!”

“Yeah right!” said Lucas sarcastically.

Lucas and Conner are best friends and at the same time, roommates in their apartment, which is located a block away from the university that they attend to. Just a month ago, as they were on a camping trip, they found a naked guy, lying around the woods. They though that the man was dead but it turns out that the guy was a bodysuit! They only read something about it online but they never really thought that these things exist. Now, they take turns using the suit and having fun with it. The even got a hot girlfriend for the guy, with either Lucas or Conner in control of course.

Now, Tanner, the name of the guy/bodysuit has a date with Kate, the girlfriend. The two best friends are settling who will be the one who will be wearing the suit and both of them are very eager to be the one who will wear Tanner.

St. Stephen's Day

St. Stephen’s Day is celebrated throughout the world in different ways. Just another religious holiday usually but this year was going to be decidedly different. St. Stephen had decided to visit the mortal world.

Joel was just another teenage nerd that the jocks of his school loved to pick on. He was a bright kid, not terribly bad looking in a lanky “he’ll grow into his body” kind of way, and always willing to help other people. He loved superheroes and had quite an impressive collection of comic books.
Rick was the QB and of course the most popular guy in school. He was older than Joel as he was a senior and Joel was just a lowly freshman. He had all the advantages: handsome, athletic, from a wealthy family, and colleges clamoring after him, even if his SAT scores placed him in the “not very bright” group.

Rick loved to torment Joel, except when he needed help with his school work. He would ooze charm and friendliness towards the nerd to get what he wanted, acting like they were best bros. And of course, Joel always capitulated and helped his biggest nemesis. That was just the type of guy Joel was.

Rick had managed to get Joel to do his advanced calculus homework for him, promising to get him into the biggest invite-only party coming up on the weekend. And yup, you guessed it, Rick had absolutely no intention of letting “nerd boy” anywhere near him or his friends at the party. Joel was crushed when Saturday rolled around and Rick was nowhere to be found. Rick meanwhile was laughing with his friends at Joel’s expense. Coincidently enough, Saturday also happened to be St. Stephen’s Day.

"Ahh, sir. Nice to see you again," the shopkeeper smiled. "I assume you're here to look for something for the party?"

I bit on my lip, "Yeah last year was a really amazing."

"We have a couple of new deals," the shopkeeper looks at me thoughtfully. "As you're a regular customer."

"Tell me more," I grinned.

"Well for a standard deal, we've extended the rental to a month."

"Wow! That's generous, anything else?"

"You can purchase an identity, but it's expensive. $25k."

I sucked in my breath, "That's steep."

He smiled, "But you don't have to pay until after you've accepted your new identity."

The wheels in my head started to turn. If I became a millionaire, $25k would only be a drop in an ocean. "I like that idea. Show me what you have on offer."

"Sure," the shopkeeper pulled out a binder and flipped through some pages. He turned the book around, "have a look through these see if there's anything that interests you."

A Chrismas Tale

What a Christmas eve. The worst snow blizzard in a century was howling outside and I just got a call from work. Seems some dumb ass brought the whole system down and now I needed to go into work to fix their mistake. Great.

Bad enough I had to bundle up to go out into the bitter cold and snow but to add insult to injury when I got there it turned out to be nothing more than someone tripping over a server connection that only had to be plugged back in. Someone’s boss is going to hear about this one in the morning.

I trudged my way back to my car, which by now had a few inches of wet snow piled on top of it, and headed back home. So much for my Christmas eve. Bah humbug.

I finally got back to my warm nest. Now to relax. After getting out of my wet gear I went to pour myself a drink. That’s when I noticed this basket by the tree that I swear hadn’t been there before. My curiosity aroused, I glanced at the colorful tag attached. Ha! “Merry Christmas! From Santa” was printed in bold golden letters. Santa indeed! I had given up believing in Santa a long time ago. Still…

I downed my drink, feeling the warmth of the liquor spreading throughout my cold body, and started to inspect this strange present further. I picked up one of the four small boxes. It had a silver “1” embossed on the wrapping. Strange. I looked closer at the remaining three. Each was a different color and, like the first, had a number on it. I started to open the box with the “1” on it. It was Christmas after all so I wasn’t breaking any rules. Nestled inside red tissue paper was a tree ornament of a golden slipper. While quite beautiful, it did seem like a rather odd gift for a man of my age, but not really thinking too much about it, I hung it on a branch of the tree and started to reach for the next box. Before I could reach down to get the box, a bright light started to emanate from the slipper, engulfing me totally in blinding whiteness. I must have passed out for some unknown amount of time, finding myself in strange surroundings when I came to.

My body was craving a smoke, which was odd since I never indulged a day in my life. Instinctively I reached over to the night stand to grab a cigarette and lighter. That first hit of nicotine cleared my thoughts, but why? I swung my feet over the edge of the bed to the waiting softness of plush carpet below. Awake but still not quite focused, I stood in amazement as I looked at the room around me. I had never seen such a bedroom before. I slowly made my way over to glass doors overlooking a porch, feeling my legs move much more easily than normal. As I opened one of the doors and stepped out, the piercing cries of seagulls overhead and crashing waves assaulted my ears. The strong scent of the ocean tickled my nostrils. I stood there for a moment watching the waves caress the sand, so serene and peaceful. I wondered what the rest of what I guessed must be a high-priced beach house must be like.

A sudden cool gust of wind made me shiver, making me realize I had very few clothes on. I looked down to find I was wearing only boxers. Stranger still, they weren’t on my normal body! Instead of my pasty thin legs I was looking at well-muscled hairless tan legs. And I had abs and pecs! Confused, I retreated into the room, trying to decide if this was all a dream or real. I mean after all how does someone suddenly find themselves in a different body? My mind was telling me that was simply impossible.

Seanday Rush: Prison Pass

I'm taking a break for a whil, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

---

Reagan was woken from his sleep by a clatter against the bars of his cell. "What the fuck?"

"Language!" The guard shouted, "Get dressed. The supervisor wants to see you?"

"See my secretary, I'm busy," Reagan grunted and turned over.

The cell door rattled as it opened. The crackle of a taser stick caught the inmates attention. "All right, I'm getting up!"

Reagan jumped off the bunk and pulled on his bright orange coveralls, tying the sleeves around his waist. "Hurry up, we don't want to keep the supervisor waiting," the guard sneered.

Reagan left the cell, followed by the guard. The cell clattered as it closed again. His cell mate watched them leave before turning over and continued his sleep.

The pair continued down the corridor, flanked by cells to the left and right. "What's this about? I've been keeping my nose clean."

"You'll find out, he's got something special planned for you Reagan. Wait here! Open door B4H," the guard muttered into his radio. The door slid open with a grind. "Walk on."

"Where's this place lead to?" Reagan asked, but the guard said nothing. They turned another corner, in front of them was a steel frame, something similar to a metal detector. "What's going on, I'm clean. I'm not carrying anything."

"What you are Mr Reagan is a trusted individual," another voice replied. "You have a presence in this establishment that's respected by other inmates. Supplemented my your--strength."

Seanday Break: Family Responsibilities

I'm taking a break for a while, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

---

It had been one hell of a day at school today. I'd been around the back of one of the temporary buildings with Maverick having a smoke of some of his special stuff when Richardson; one of the teachers, had caught us. He'd marched us across to the principles office, and he'd laid into us with the usual, as seniors you're meant to be setting an example to the other students. I just bit my lip and took it like a man, but when he told me he wanted my father here this afternoon to discuss discipline I balked. I had no option but to agree to have him visit after school.

I'd worried about it all afternoon, and when I returned to the restaurant that our family owned I discovered that a paid event was in full flow. Trudging around the guests I found my father, with his friend Terry. I lived with my father, and my older brother above the restaurant, my mother had divorced him when she came back one day and found him in bed with Terry. My brother and I decided to stay with him, but that's another story.

"Can I talk with you privately," I asked him.

"Sure son," he replied. "Terry, can you give me five minutes? Help yourself to the buffet." Terry nodded, and my father followed me out and up the stairs to the apartment.

"What's the problem son?"

"Just drop it will you, all the son shit," I snapped at my father. "One of the teachers caught me smoking, and they want to see you at the school at six tonight."

"John, that's the third time this month. Was you with Maverick again?"

I looked him in the eye. "And what the fuck has it got to do with you? Now shut up and strip."

Seanday Break: No Credit

I'm taking a break for a while, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

I tapped Cody on the shoulder. "Can I have a word champ?"

As soon as he saw me, I could tell he knew what I was going to ask. "Yeah, five minutes?" He replied.

"Now!" I growled, "I don't have all day for this."

He apologised to the kid and scrawled a signature on the poster. "Be back in five," he whispered to Jackson sitting next to him. Jackson let out a grunt and waved a hand.

Cody followed me into the locker room, I closed the door and faced him. "You know the rules Grove, two weeks; that's all you get. Your time is up."

The 6'5" player towered over me. "You know I could crush you so easily," there was a threatening tone in his voice.

Seanday Break: What are you doing?

Sean.

“It’s great of you to invite me out to your cabin uncle Jack,” Tony grins.

“No problem son, I’ve been meaning to bring out here for a long time.”

Tony couldn’t believe his eyes; what an opportunity to be out here with his with his hunky uncle in a isolated cabin in the mountains. He glanced over to the heavy built guy, tight crop haircut—something Jack picked up from his time in the marines— broad shoulders, heavy pecs and biceps that stretched the fabric of his check shirt.

Jack pulled over grinning and turned to looked at Tony. “What?” he laughed.

“Are we there?” Tony asked. Jack just grinned and unbuttoned his jeans pushing his hand down inside. “What the fuck are you doing?” Tony stammers.

A wry grin pulls across Jack’s face. “Nothing you wouldn’t be doing if you was sitting here I bet,” Jack retorts.

“What?” Tony stammers.

Jack gets out of the truck and hikes his jeans up. “Get out Tony.”

Tony gets out, a little uneasy. “What’s wrong?” he asks looking around, the road is deserted.

Seanday Break: Ring of Deception

I'm taking a break for a while, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

---

Smiling to yourself you remember the day exactly when you discovered the ring, the quiet run down curio shop in one of the back streets of Alvin, the glint in the sellers eye as he warned you about it ancient powers and the unbelieving sneer of a smile you shot back to him.

It was quite a shock when you triggered the ring for the first time - by accident. Joshua your younger brother by just a year was really annoying you mouthing off, giving you shit. You grabbed him by the throat pinning him against the wall, an action that activated the ring.

You blinked, frozen; just for a split second you glanced at the ring, it was glowing - yellow, orange and then a deep red which started to encompass your hand.

The glow travelled down your arm and started to envelope Joshua as well, it seemed like minutes but in reality it was a blink of the eye. It flashed a brilliant red and when you were able to focus again, it dawned on you that it was your own face your were staring into.

Seanday Break: Something Furry

I'm taking a break for a while, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

---

My time was running out, but I'd found my next home. Although I looked quite normal, a seventeen year old a touch skinny and a little awkward this form was becoming unstable. I should have expected it really, I'd obtained it two years ago and I was already 6 months overdue for a change. He'd started to feel itchy, and grated on my conscious continually, whether it was the claustrophobic tightness or something that used to feel comfortable and like home now started to feel alien to me.

I don't know how many of us there are in the world, but I know for one thing we are damn good at hiding; even from each other.

We all have the ability to shape-shift, to change our identity; physically, but only for about an hour or so. I'd use this ability to track and follow him, being his friends, a stranger asking for the time perhaps or a friendly shop assistant, it all helped to understand his choices, the way he reacted to different situations, all important.

I scratched at my elbow, the tightness and irritation was becoming worse.

By now I knew his routine and today he would be at the gym; I looked at my mobile, 19:30 yeah he'd be finishing soon.

I waited for an opportunity and it arrived on schedule, Kenny one of the personal trainers.

I turned and bumped into him, grabbing his shoulder; "Sorry man, entirely my fault."

"No problem, just look where you're going next time." He retorted.

I gave him a quick smile and walked off towards the gym, tossing his keys in the air catching them and clipped his ID to my shirt.

Seanday Break: Jock Enhancement

I'm taking a break for a while, but just to entertain you I'm reposting some of my favourite stories -- I hope you enjoy them as well.

Sean.

---

Deep heavy breathing, a huge rush of air with every breath a tightness across your chest, the rush of blood in your ears, something unfamiliar to you. With a groan your head rolls to the side, your vision starts to clear, and you blink a couple of times.

Through obscured vision you see feet, lots of them shuffling, walking, jogging. The throbbing in your head beats in time with your pounding heart; through the noise something catches your attention

“Jason, Jason!” You turn your head to face the voice and blink. Someone crouches in front of you and a helmeted face comes into view. “Jason you OK?” The guy waves his hand in front of your face and you jerk a little. He stands towering over you, still slightly dazed you see him wave at something to your right.

You let out a long sigh, and close your eyes hoping it will help the throbbing in your head, “No-no-no, stay with me bro’, keep your eyes open,” you blink again and try to focus on the face of the guy kneeling again in front of you, “that’s it stay with me.”

You’re looking up and someone else comes into view; dropping a bag. He’s checking you over, the voices are muffled but you think you hear him say, “Did he lose consciousness?”

“I’m not sure, it was one hell of a tackle, helmet-to-helmet, damn!” The guy kneeling next to you replies. You let out a groan and try to sit up, “No, lay still for a moment,” He pushes on your chest, “the medic is here he’s just going to check you over.”

Seanday Eclipse

This maybe horror... or relief for some; for others a murmur of indifference.

The story is: I'll be taking a break for a month or so. You know I enjoy writing and look forward to reading your comments just as much, but when it becomes a chore to keep to the writing schedule I feel it's time to stop and take a breath.

I will be around of course, and the “Caption This” on Saturdays will continue. If you want a chat, then hit me up on Google Hangouts, Twitter, Tumblr, comments below or email (smitch1981 @gmail.com).

If you have a story that you want to share on the blog, then send it to me and I’ll check it out!

Second Coming: The Rage Within

A Halloween repost from the archives.

Darren stood for a moment and looked around the old house, certainly older than the others in the street. It was built in 1887; Victorian Second Empire apparently. Steeped in history he was told, a true fixer upper they said. Still he was grateful for his uncle who left it to him in his will. But as Darren looked at the photo from who knows when, even then its wooden frame, its dark aged slatted walls, sighed with the years.
It had sat unoccupied for a good five years before the will was read, due to Darren's uncle going missing. The investigation to find him had been thorough, but he was never found and the house had suffered from serious neglect in the meantime.

Darren decided that he would simply renovate the house and sell it; he had no interest in the family history. He started to move an old chest--one of the few remaining items in the house--and a photograph, paled and aged, dropped to the floor. He picked it up; it appeared to be a group of football players in a locker room. They were all holding up their fists proudly showing their championship rings. Darren remembered his uncle talking about the time the football team won the college tournament. He ran a finger across the faces, and smiled as he spotted his uncle; he hadn't seen him for almost twenty years now. He propped the photo on the chest and stood back wondering what cards fate had dealt his uncle.

The restoration was tough; he'd worked through the house room by room and was only half way done. He had only started working on the ground floor box room in the morning. It was a peculiar room with no windows and appeared to have no purpose. The wallpaper was dark and mottled with a pattern that seemed to shift if you stared at it too long.

Seanday Lunch: Winner's Line

"Quit fooling Jack," I growled as I framed the picture. "Act your age!"

He smirked and looked at me. "What, my real age or Tommy's?"

"Your boy's age, you dope," David said with a sigh.

Jack covered the lens. "This is how my boy smiles for the camera, I should know!"

"Come'n Jack, don't spoil the day," David moaned.

"Just chill will you guys, I just want picture," I told them.

Seanday Filler: Turn-a-Round, pt2

Read pt1 here

I'd seen Tommy from the window, he was a senior and looked like he'd eat me for breakfast and ask for more!

It was a risk, but I stretched open Logan's mouth again, and started to feed my feet inside.

It was warm, tight and clingy. I pushed in deeper, his body bunched up as my legs found their way, all the way down to his feet. I wriggled my toes and watched Logan's move, his calves and heavy thighs moved when I did.

Pulling up his waist, I felt my ass drop into his, then I winched. My dick was trapped, twisted. Sliding my hand inside his mouth, I searched inside his body and released my member. Finding a hole I fed dick inside.

I gasped; a shiver skated down my spine. I looked down, Logan's, no my dick? It was hard. I touched the tip with a finger, and shuddered. The thick, appendage certainly wasn't mine, but I could feel the touch. I wanted to know what was going on, but I knew Tommy would be calling again.

Seanday Filler: Turn-a-Round, pt1

"No, no, no. Not now!"

This was the first time I'd dared to enter someones house. My lip started to quiver as I slid down the door.

I'd only had scraps of food for the past few days. I was picking through a bin behind a cafe when two servers came out, told me I was worthless. I'd been called worse, but then they started to push me around. I did my best to protect myself, but they punching me; cut my eye. I fell, but I managed to scramble to my feet, and run.

My stomach was turning inside out, I was so hungry. Then I saw the house--big and expensive looking. I thought the house was empty, a guy had just left in a Jeep. I saw an open window and leaned in, it was a bathroom. I hopped on the sill, and then fell inside. I'd told myself that they'd never miss a box of cookies or something.

Then I'd heard the voices; just outside. There was some shouting, the door shuddered as someone fell against it. Then it went quiet.

I heard them talking, laughing as well. I got to my feet and pushed my ear to the door.

"How long does it take?"

"Couple of minutes," the other replied.

"This is going to be sweeeet."

Seanday Fillers: Another Take

"Damn, you scored big time," Tony chuckled taking another photo.

"Have I ever let you down?" I replied putting a strong arm around Tony's shoulders.

He looked at me and tipped his head, "Like those kids?"

"It was only a week," I groaned and shoved him. "Besides, it was your idea."

Tony's mouth dropped open. "How so?"

Seanday Fillers: Horse Play

"No, no way," Rick muttered. "There's no way I'm going to do that, it's a fucked up plan."

"But it's twenty thousand dollars man," Jack retorted. "It'll just be a day--and a bit, it'll be easy."

"What part of NO do you NOT understand!"

Jack looked at the stallion, its eyes where bright and alert. He held up his hand, and he animal reared back and trotted off.

"You know the plan will work," Jack moaned. Then he flexed, "See, proof that it works."

Rick kicked at the ground. "But it's an animal, how am I going to control it?"
