I never thought I would see the day when Derek would settle down with only one person but apparently Steve is his soul mate. I feel lonely and like the odd man out. He tries to reassure me and get me to go with them but I usually beg off with some excuse. Don’t get me wrong - I like Steve. How could I not like him? I’m just jealous of him. I’ll get over it… someday.
"So what's the story on these guys," Jack asked the rest of the guys as he rubbed his tattooed arm.
"They're a bunch of seniors, schools top football players—obviously," Curtis retorted as he pulled at his jersey.
"Never been this big before, what about you guys?" John asked turning the pads over in his hands.
Adam just looked confused scratching his black cropped hair. "What are you guys talking about?" He said with a frown.
The three jocks slowly turned and looked at Adam. "Where were you last night?" Curtis asked, his eyes narrowed.

I was always criticised for staring at people in wheel chairs or people with a false leg or arm. I was told that it was rude to stare. But I never understood why. The truth is, at least for me is that I wanted to know their story. I wanted to know how they felt, what happened to them and if their bodies behaved any differently now that they had a missing limb.
It wasn't until recently that I discovered all of the answers to my questions. I had begun to get very friendly with an ex-army man. He had lost his leg in a recent war and now wore a false leg. It didn't seem to bother him one bit and he seemed happy and appeared to live a normal life. He often walked around shirtless.

Derek is a stud. His body is totally ripped, not an ounce of fat to be found anywhere. He is 6’2, has dark blonde hair, eyes like two pools of pure hazel green, and slightly tanned skin.
He’s my best friend. I love Derek like the brother I never had, someone I look up to and admire. I am 5’7, skinny with a face and body that only a mother could love, shy, and very self-conscious. I live in his apartment since I don’t have any other place to go. He is there for me and I would do anything for him.
