McGill

from the Sean M. archive

For officer McGill going undercover wasn’t anything new; playing gambling partners, escorts are all in a day’s work.

Today the team had an assignment that was a little different; they had already taken Carlos Drake, one of the Mafia’s right hand men into custody for a speeding fine.

McGill looked through the 1-way glass at Carlos as he was told to strip and put on a pair of paper overalls. McGill gulped and walked towards the locker room.

There was a shout from behind, “McGill” it was the chief. You’ll need these; he handed over Carlos’s clothes and wallet.

“Thanks”, McGill replied with a sarcastic tone, the chief smiled.

In the locker room a duplicate of Carlos was waiting, perfectly formed in ever detail, but totally lifeless. McGill pull the suit to its full height, its cold dark eyes emotionless. Even though the suit was empty it sneered at McGill with a air of contempt and disgust.

The officers pulled the heavy suit over his shoulders, moving and flexing making sure the fit was good. The new Carlos pulled on clothes and put the wallet in the pocket of the jeans. Happy with the reflection in the mirror Carlos left the locker room, only to bump into the original being escorted to the cells by 3 other officers, of course he went ballistic but the new Carlos taunted him and flexed, kissing his bicep.

Leaving the station, Carlos was met by one of the other henchmen; “Any trouble” he asked? “Fuck no, just hassling me for jumping a light” McGill replied in Carlos’s voice.

McGill gained some confidence after fooling the henchmen, a bonus for this 24yr old officer.
