Well, giving DISQUS another go.
Use the comments as before, none where lost in the migration (thankfully). You can vote up/down particular comments that you think are deserving (or not).
You can still post as anonymous by checking the "I'd rather post as guest". It will need an email address but it doesn't check to see if it's valid. Better still login using one of the services like Twitter, Facebook or G+.
Another feature! At the top of the comments section (when you've clicked into the post) you'll see a [Star] click on this if you like the post! It's more than likely the "Reactions" voting will be removed soon.
Drop me a note if you're having problems or post a comment to this post!!

Does it matter if I also post them on another site as well? Or does it have to be exclusively here? Anyways thanks for replying :) And I'll send it to you after I proofread it :P.
ReplyDeleteNo, we'll cool with that providing it's your own work, and it fits in with the other types of stories we have on here.
ReplyDeleteStill reserve the right to remove anything that isn't appropriate for the blog.

ReplyDeleteWell, it appears to be working OK.
ReplyDeleteAnyone had any problems?
Where is a suitable place to make recommendations for the other writers to do?
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the Authors names at the top/right you'll find they have contact details.
ReplyDeleteYou can drop them an email, and send them a suggestion.
Seems to work on my desktop but not my Android tablet.. it protests that "the response is taking too long - do I want to try again" but nothing ever comes back.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else getting this?
