“Babe?” Charlie asked as he watched his boyfriend take another deep drag of the cigarette and blow out a thick puff of smoke, “You sure you’re all right?”

“The fuck you mean, am I all right?” growled Jared, “Fuck. I’m fine, ok? I’m fuckin’ great, as a matter of fuckin’ fact.”

“OK…” said Charlie, “It’s just, I can’t tell if you’re still playing or not. I mean, you know I think it’s so hot seeing you act like this, but I just need to know that it’s still you inside of there…”

“So, what?” said Jared, “Last night you couldn’t get enough of me like this, wanted me to call you every fuckin’ dirty name in the book, wanted to feel up all of my muscles, check out my tattoos, fuck you like the little pussy boy that you are – and now this morning you ain’t into it any more? What the fuck, bud? Maybe you can’t fuckin’ handle a guy like this. Is that it?”

“What? Jared… really?” said Charlie, “Look, maybe we should get you out of that suit. That guy who rented it to me did say that you shouldn’t wear it overnight, and now I think I’m starting to see why.”

“Yeah, OK,” chuckled Jared, “I’ll just take off this suit and go back to being some lame, scrawny-ass little sissy gayboy again. Fuck no, man! I kind of like being like this, if you couldn’t fucking tell, and I’ll take off this suit when and if I want to. Now you’ve got two choices the way I see it. You can stay with me and get with the fuckin’ program, or you can leave and let me go do my own thing. I don’t really fuckin’ care either way.”

“Jared!” said Charlie, “Please! Just – take off the suit!”

“Not a chance, bud,” said Jared, putting out his cigarette and lumbering around the hotel room, gathering his things and trying to put together some semblance of an outfit that would fit his new body, “Hey, do me a favor and pack up the rest of my shit, will ya? I’ll come by the apartment later and pick it up.”
