Growing up I had always loved tennis. It was a way for me to be competitive without being huge. I was never a real big guy, so playing football was out of the question. I enjoyed watching baseball...or more specifically the guys but just didn't enjoy playing it. In college I was doing great on the tennis team. I was working my way up to be one of the best players the school had every produced. It was my junior year when I went for a ball during practice and stepped on another ball sending me flying. It ended my tennis career.
It took awhile for me to recover and get over my depression of being out of the game. Finally I was able to find a way to get close to the game again. With all of my knowledge of the game I was able to really easily get a job as a ball boy at the biggest tournaments. It was a lot of hard work but really amazing to be so close to some of the best players in the world.
Being so close to the players was awesome. Some of them even got to know my name and would talk to me during breaks. One of the greatest players to the ball people was Andy Murray. He was the nicest guy around. So one day after one of his toughest matches he was relaxing in the locker room when I came in to help clean up. Another duty of the ball guy is to clean up after the players in the locker rooms. Andy and I got into a deep conversation. Talking about our pasts and everything. It was amazing. I felt really close to him. After awhile he reached into his bag and pulled me out a drink. I thought it was kinda odd that the star was giving a ball guy a drink but I gladly took it from him. We cheers-ed and that it really the last thing I remember.
I am not sure how much time had passed when I finally started to remember things. I opened my eyes and realized I was looking up at the ceiling of the locker room. As I slow sat up I felt weird. It was easier to move. I looked down and was shocked at what I saw...instead of my shirt I was looking at a nice set of pecs and abs. Only they weren't mine. I looked around the room and didn't see Andy Murray anywhere until I noticed a mirror.....right were I was standing was Mr Murray.
“Huh wtf is going on?” I said in a new voice and accent.
I slowly walked over to the mirror. It was so weird walking in a different body. I start to feel the muscles, totally shocked this is real. At least I think it is real. I pinch my arm and feel pain. My mind is trying to make sense of this all. How is this even possible? Where is the real Andy? I can't play to his level.
“Don't worry man. You will know it all and play like me. I am giving you a chance to get back in the game.” I hear in my head.
“Andy? Where are you? What do you mean giving me a chance?” I say out loud not realizing he isn't hiding in the room.
“Relax man. I am with you. I just put you in control of my body for awhile. I am here to make sure you don't do anything that could mess up my life. You will be able to play again and be at the top of the game again” He thought to me.
“Man I don't know this just seems weird.” I said but decided to take his body for a spin on the court.
It was amazing to get back out on the court. Hit the ball and have the adrenaline rush of playing in a match again. I was really enjoying the chance I was given. I get a hot body plus get to live out a dream I have been having. I really am thinking I may convince him to let me stay in him longer.
