  1. The Magic Facebook App – a new body swap story – by jakeknighttitan (jakeknighttitan@yahoo.com)

Albert was the star soccer player at his high school, and today was another great day for a game. The weather was nice, there was no wind and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The sun was out and it wasn’t too warm or too cold. All the other players on the Tigers soccer team were there, dressed up in the usual uniform wearing black cleats, socks and shorts with yellow jerseys. They were playing the Rovers, who were dressed completely in red.

Albert raced down the field and stormed towards the Rovers’ goal. Chase kicked the ball nice and high towards him, just as Albert approached the goal line. The goalie wasn’t sure what Albert would do, and he just bounced on the toes, ready to jump in either direction, when Albert did the unexpected: Albert turned around, with his back facing the goal, just as the ball was hovering right above his head. Then, with amazing athleticism, he leaped into the air with great force, allowing his legs to shoot straight up as his head came down after his body spun around, effectively making his body spin upside-down in mid-air. Then, at the right moment, Albert’s right foot kicked the soccer ball into the goal at a hard, downward angle, completely catching the goalie off-guard! GOAL!

The crowd went crazy as Albert landed on his stomach. He quickly jumped to his feet to turn around, just in time to get mobbed by his jubilant teammates. He scored the first point of the match!

After the match was over, Albert wandered off the field, drinking from his water bottle, when he was greeted by a heavy set man wearing a button shirt and jeans. It was Tim, his math teacher, who worked at the school and loved to come watch his soccer games since Albert was in one of his classes.

“Good game, Albert! Congratulations!” Tim said to his student.

“Thanks, Mr. Stevens. I appreciate it!” he replied. “Can you give me a ride to my house?”

“Sure! No problem!” Tim said, as he led the soccer player to his nice Audi sedan.

“Wow… You got a nice car!” the boy said, as he got in the seat and fastened the seat belt.

“Thanks…” Tim smiled, as he started the car and slowly pulled out of the parking spot.

Albert came from a poor family where he lived with his parents and his younger, 10-year-old brother in a small apartment which was just a minute down the street from the school. Albert’s parents didn’t even have a car, so he just had to ride his bicycle to school every day. Albert didn’t mind it so much but sometimes he wished that things were better for him.

After Tim had dropped him off at his house, he went into his small bedroom, which he shared with his brother, and he logged on to his favorite website, which was Facebook.

While surfing around the Facebook website, Albert found several ads for cool new apps that he could try out and install on his own profile page. Everybody had heard of or installed the new Timeline app, and Farmville and City Ville and Castle Ville games and apps already, but he was searching for some totally new and exciting to experiment with. Then, he stumbled upon a page for a new software development company that had just released a beta version of a cool, new, magical app that allowed just about anyone to body swap anything they wanted with another Facebook user as long as that user was listed as one of their friends!

“What? Really? I want to try that!” Albert cheered, as he clicked on the “Install” link for the “Magic Facebook App” title just below the description. He just rubbed his hands together in eager anticipation of trying out this cool, new thing. Would this really work? There were already ten reviews out for the app and they all gave the app a cool 100% rating, so the app just had to be good!

Once installed, the app asked Albert for access to his own profile information, and he clicked on “Allow”.

  2. Ok, this one may not really fit the overall theme of the blog, but this is what came to my mind.

Romeo felt the now familiar surge of energy from the charm around his neck. He knew that he was going to have a good practice now. The only person close enough to have triggered the charm was Curtis, and the irony of it made the already pleasurable feeling even better. Just about four years ago, when they were both freshmen it would have been Romeo admiring the more athletic and put together Curtis. Yeah, back than Romeo was all elbows, knees, big glass and nervous energy. Now, he had filled out, started wearing contacts, and has confidence.

Romeo was sure that Curtis suspect part of the secret of Romeo’s success, but Curtis only knew the smallest part. Curtis was there that Saturday after Thanksgiving freshman year, when Romeo found the charm, but Curtis did not know what came after. It was just one of those crystal pendants that are sold in all the New Age shops. Romeo thought it would make a nice gift for his Great Aunt Bella, who would be visiting his family the next week as part of her holiday tour of the family.

On the day Great Aunt Bella arrived, Romeo gave her the pendant all wrapped up in a little gift box. She was so pleased with the gift that she made time to speak with her young nephew away from the others. She told him that the stone was Lapis, a stone associated with royalty many years ago. Than she started talking about things that Romeo didn’t understand at the time. About how all emotions are energy that can be tapped. Some emotions are dangerous to use, like rage and hatred, and others can be unreliable like lust or love. Admiration and jealousy are relatively safe, and it usually doesn’t take much to find someone that is worse of than you are. All the while Great Aunt Bella was making strange gestures over the pendant.

Finally, Aunt Bella finished her gestures and her talking, and placed the pendant around Romeo’s neck. She kisses him gently on the cheek, and says that this was her gift back to him. She also tells him that this is a promise, if he learns to use this gift well; she would teach him other secrets when he is older. Together they go and join the rest of his family, and Romeo for the first time feels the surge of energy from his pendant, as he sees the looks of pride and approval from his parents.

Over the next few months, Romeo quickly comes to realize that the rush of energy corresponds to someone feeling admiration, envy or jealous towards him. He starts to grab that energy and uses it to push through. A dreary wet and cold morning, he touches his pendant and feels that surge of energy to give him the drive to get out of bed and do his morning run. A homework assignment is challenging him and he draws the strength to not give up from the charm. Just the knowledge that others could look up to him gave him an added confidence that probably showed to people before all the other changes. The only thing that he noticed, is that the charm didn’t actually seem to give him anything, but helped him put in the effort to earn it.

Now, almost four years later, and Romeo is high school royalty. He has the fit and healthy body from a dedication to a good diet and active lifestyle. His grades reflect the hard work he puts in. His confidence has helped him become a leader: class president and captain of sporting teams. All balanced by a lack of spoiled brat, because he earned everything he has.

  3. I was looking at him, it was a funny feeling, I should feel bad for what I've done to him but I don't. I have been in love with him since we were young, he's my best friend but sadly he is straight although nobody knows I'm gay. A few days ago I gave to Felipe a necklace, I told him it was a lucky charm and as my friend he started to wear it, it in fact had a charm but it wasn't for luck, it was for love. I had to put a little of my blood inside the charm so it can work for me, after I do so I have to give it to someone. Felipe must be thinking about me and accepting that is becoming gay, feeling less unconfortable by the idea that he wants to be mine, that he wants to be under me, in my bed, that he wants to wake up with me by his side, by tomorrow he's going to be madly in love with me, aftermtomorrow he will tell me he's in love with me and he will be finally mine. He's going to be so in love that he will do whatever I want him to do, like a slave but with the difference that he'll love to be my slave. Finally I will have him in my arms, then the necklace will be useless because once he's in love with me he will always be, with or without the necklace.
