"So tell me Jack, how are we going to get back?" I snapped.
"Chill will you, just follow me."
I followed him into the grocery store. "What are we doing in here you idiot?" I asked following him up and down the isles.
"Just shut up," he moaned.
I sighed and followed him looking at my watch. "Come one, we need to get going."
Jack turned the corner at the back of the store and stopped, "Bingo."
"Seriously? He looks sixteen."
"Nah, I saw him park an SUV in the lot."
I laughed, "Probably his mom's."
"Whatever, it's a car right?"
"I guess," I shrugged.
Jack glanced up at the walls, checking for cameras or mirrors--all clear. He flexed an arm and approached the kid. He was shorter than Jack, all-American kid from the 'burbs. Expensive looking haircut; longer on top with a tight cut around the sides. Baggy t-shirt, with oversized branded jeans and sneakers.
The kid was occupied searching the freezer when Jack came up behind him and wrapped his arms around him locking his hands behind his head. "Keep quiet," he whispered, "or you'll get hurt."
Jack tightened his grip on the kid and muttered something under his breath. He let out a grunt and pushed into the kid who let out a little whimper. Jack forced himself further inside the youth, down into his arms and then finally into the back of his head.
I walked over, "You OK?"
The kid looked at me and then rubbed his hands on his t-shirt. "Yeah, all good bro'," he answered. "His house is clear for the rest of the weekend. Let's get going. Call me Jacob."
In the SUV Jacob drove us back to the house, it was well fitted out--expensive like. "Got somebody for me?" I asked.
Jacob grinned, "Caleb, my best friend. I'll call him, get him over here."
I dropped into a chair and propped my feet on the table, "Sweet, I think it's going to be a fun weekend."
"I know it will be," Jacob replied. "And get your fucking feet off the table, mom doesn't allow that!" I almost choked, fearing the worst and the Jacob grinned at me.
