I was trapped in the kitchen of the frat house. Kyle's large hand gripped my throat. I tried to swallow, and I felt his hold relent. "What are you going to do with me?" I gasped nervously.
He slammed me hard against the wall. "I don't know yet. Rip your head off and bury you in the garden maybe," he growled.
His impressive physique stretched at the fabric of the black t-shirt he was wearing. I had little doubt that he could easily carry out his threat. I looked up at him, strong angular jawline with a meticulously trimmed beard. Kyle was one of twelve frat members that lived in the house, mainly football players and wrestlers--the heavy scent of testosterone hung in the air.
"I'll leave, say nothing. Just let me go," I pleaded.
He laughed, a deep booming laugh that echoed around the kitchen. "But I think I have the upper hand. You're in no position to negotiate," he muttered and tightened his grip--just to prove the point.
I was struggling to breath. I tried to focus on his eyes--deep blue--almost innocent. But I knew they were his keenest assists with the girls, now they only showed malice.
Kyle must have been approaching 300lbs. My gaze traced down his shoulder to his bicep--it was huge--flexed hard as he gripped my throat.
There was a noise like something being knocked over from elsewhere in the house. Kyle's head turned to the door. His a gaze returned to me--his eyes narrowed and he dragged me to a chair. "SIT and don't more!" A grin stretched across his face, "Trust me, I WILL hurt you if you do."
He released his grip and I rubbed at my bruised neck. He looked at me and tipped his head. "You're moving," he hissed. I stopped immediately. He cautiously left the room only pausing to point at me like a disobedient dog.
The thought of escape crossed my mind--briefly, but I knew him from college. I'm pretty sure he'd seen me even though he didn't know my name.
From outside I could hear the dull bass from the Frat party only a few houses down. I'd been stupid--careless.
I heard a voice--Kyle's. I strained to hear what was being said, but I couldn't. I thought about making a run for it again, but it was too late. Kyle entered the kitchen, closely followed by a second Frat member.
"Is this is the jerk-off," the newcomer asked.
"Yeah, that's the fucker. Found him in the den. You want a beer Jack?" He asked holding out a bottle.
"Cheers," Jack replied taking a couple of gulps. I looked at the new comer, he was shirtless just wearing some long mesh shorts. His torso was defined, a six-pack of abs cobbled his stomach. Two heavy stabs of muscle hung from his shoulders. He too had a crafted beard, with a tight crop cut.
He put his beer down and leaned on the table, towering over me. His thick arms twitched and spasmed as he grinned down at me. "What are we going to do with him?"
Kyle had returned to making up the weeks meals: chicken and rice. "I've seen him a couple of times. I think we should just rip his head off and bury him under the decking." He replied looking over his shoulder.
Jack shook his head, "Dude, be serious." He looked at his watch. "Maybe we should strip him and drop him off at the Mall," he chuckled.
He walked up to me and I flinched when he went to punch me only stopping millimetres from my face. He laughed in my face. "What were you doing in the house?" He muttered. I said nothing, if I told him I knew it would only make things worse.
Jack groaned and rolled his eyes, he grabbed my arm and twisted. The pain shot down my arm and I let out a yelp. "What the fuck was that," Kyle laughed looking over his shoulder again. "I thought it was a guy, not a girl."
"I dunno," Jack snorted. He pulled me to my feet, practically lifting me to his height. His face tightened and became very serious. "What were you doing in the house? Were you going to steal something?" He jerked at my arm again and I yelled out. "Did one of the other Frats send you?"
"No. Nothing like that," I managed to squeak.
Jack pushed me back back into the chair, with a look of disgust on his face. He checked his watch again, his mouth twitched into a smile. Kyle had finished stacking the plastic meal containers and his interest returned to Jack and myself. "So what are we going to do? I like the idea of Mall," he laughed punching a fist into his palm.
I really didn't like the way this was turning out, I had intended on stealing something--
Kyle frown down at me, "What did you come here for runt?" Jack was sat the counter checking the meals.
"Just fucking let me go! Who are you anyway? Dumb jock and meathead?" I yelled, getting frustrated.
"Whoa! This little bitch has spunk Jack." He said nothing, just standing behind Kyle watching me with a grin on his face.
I jumped with surprise when Jack grabbed Kyle from behind in a bear hug. "What the fuck are you doing Jack?" Kyle felled trying to free himself. Kyle twisted and kicked, but although Kyle was heavier, Jack had the strength.
"Don't fucking struggle," Jack shouted, he looked over at me. "We never go around alone. We always have a backup," Jack growled.
"What the fuck are you talking about Jack?"
"Jack's not home anymore," he chuckled.
Kyle's eyes widened with surprise. He let out a low groan and spasmed. His eyelids fluttered and closed. Jack shuddered, his arms dropped and with a groan he collapsed to the floor.
It was my time to smile. I watched Kyle--still standing--sway a little, moments later his eyes blinked open. He shook his head and stared at me. "Sorry about the rough treatment."
"What the fuck happened?" I retorted rubbing my sore arm.
"I bumped into Jack upstairs, luckily I caught him by surprise as he was coming out of the bathroom. Jumped him and climbed inside. Kyle found me, told me about a dweeb he'd caught in the den snooping around," he told me shrugging his meaty shoulders. "Had to play Jack--you know--"
"For twenty minutes?" I finished knowing that it wasn't possible to jump into a new body immediately.
"Yeah," Kyle added. He rolled Jack onto his back and stared at him. "You still wanna do this? I mean, be these guys for the rest of our lives?"
I walked over to Kyle, his demeanour had completely changed. HIs blue eyes sparkled with childish youth. "What have I got to lose?"
HIs lip trembled and he hugged me--gently. "You know I've always been here for you," he croaked.
"Yeah, I know." I pulled off my shirt and shorts and laid on top of Jack. I stared for a moment at Kyle knowing my only friend was inside the giant. I closed my eyes and felt myself slipping down into Jack.
A warmness blanketed me and I blinked. Above me Kyle came into focus. He offered the same hand that had choked me, I took it and he pulled me to my feet. "Glad to have you back my friend," he said.
I looked at my new form, for the first time in my life I felt strong and confident. I touched my pecs and traced my hand down my cobbled stomach. Kyle took my hand, "Come on there's plenty of time for that later. Now I've finished my meals for next week we can go to the party."
I smiled, "Go see the rest of the guys?"
"You got it bro'," he chuckled.
Interesting monsieur Mitchell. Good little effort.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill.
ReplyDeleteI like it but I just got confused as to who was doing what between Jack and Kyle at the important bits. Did the guy inside Jack overpower Kyle and jump inside him leaving Jack for our author?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, I've re-written the part you mentioned. How does it read now?
ReplyDeletePerfectly clear now and amongst your best, although a best would be nigh impossible to choose of yours!
ReplyDeleteAww shucks, thanks nman.
