The guys on both pictures have bad vices like too much sex and drugs. They were so addicted to them until a guy or two appeared on their door that changed they bad habits and vices
ReplyDeleteI leaned up against the wall and waited. I looked at my reflection in the windows opposite, plucking at the shirt I was wearing. It wasn't the usual type of thing I'd wear, but for today I was someone else. I practiced Cory's smile, a soft, shy smile with a hint of insecurity. A girl walked past blocking my view for a moment, and smiled back. I looked away for a moment, then stole a look. She was still looking at me, I felt my cheeks warm and bit my lip. It was her time to blush and turn away. I watched her walk away; glancing back a couple of times. Damn, I was working Cory's looks--nailed it.
ReplyDeleteSlipping into Cory's persona further I started to nervously play with the hem of the shirt as I watched the people exit the station. I scanned the faces looking for Robert. I knew his train had just arrived.
Then I saw him, our eyes locked for a moment then he looked away and continued to walk down the street. I waited for a moment to see if he'd look back, but he never did. Swallowing hard I jogged along to catch him up. "Rob," I called. He stopped and turned, his frowned at me.
"Leave me alone, we're history."
"Rob, listen to me. Don't be angry not today."
He stabs his fingers at my chest, pushing me back to the wall. "What you did to me was unforgivable. Besides, I've got someone at home that I love."
"You love him?" I asked.
"Very much."
"You loved me as well," I told him quietly.
"Once."
"Could you love me again?" I asked hopefully.
He swallowed hard. "I was shallow back then, you're a good looking guy," he sighed, "but you're broken inside, twisted."
I looked at the ground and shuffled my feet. "What if I could change?"
"Unlikely, leopard and all that."
"But I have, inside."
"Prove it."
"I made you breakfast this morning, with heart shaped pancakes."
He looked at me, and he started to smile as the realisation washed across his face. "Tony?"
I smiled. "I know you love me, always have. But I've never been a good looking guy--never will."
"It doesn't matter, it's what's on the inside that counts," he tells me.
"I know, but I remembered how much you liked Cody. I thought--"
"He's good looking, but a dick."
I smiled, "Would you give him a second chance? He's changed--on the inside."
Robert kissed me. "Sure, come'n let go home."
