Caption This!

Guys, I assume you like the work we do here (not always a lot of comments, so we may just be talking to ourselves!)

But here’s your chance to shine! for the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting an image, one a week.

Caption it or write a short scene and we might just make it into a story for you!

Don’t be shy – be anonymous if you want!

  1. Once I unrolled this old rug I found in storage, an ancient Genie appeared to me telling me that he could alter reality and that he would grant me one wish. My wish immediately came to mind, as it was something I had been wishing for my entire life. "I wish to swap bodies and lives with my older brother Hank". Instantly I found myself outside in my older brother's body doing yard work shirtless. I found my old self by the rolled out rug, dazed and confused. I told the old me that I was the new Hank from now and forever more, and that he would have to be taking orders from ME. I ordered him to his new room, and when he protested I just flexed my big new biceps and threatened to beat him up as he always did to me. He complied, I then proceeded to roll up that old magical rug. I decided that I would destroy the rug so that no one could ever reverse this wish. I was going to be Hank permanently, this was my body and life now. I placed the rolled up rug in the back of my older brother's pickup truck... I mean MY pickup truck. I then drove out in the woods poured gasoline all over the rug and struck a match... I watched as the rug burned to nothing but ashes permanently cementing my wish and my new life as Hank. First order of business is to break up with my older brother's bitch of a girlfriend, and ask out Hank's ex-friend Matt out. The former Hank had disowned Matt when Matt come out as gay, and became his enemy. My former older brother was very homophobic, thus why he bullied me so much. Well the new Hank is going to be coming out of the closet after I apologize to Matt and ask him out for a date. This was the greatest thing to happen to me. I drove back in my pickup truck as I dialed Matt's number on my new cell phone. I was looking forward to living in Hank's body and taking over his life. Yes there were going to be radical changes in the new Hank's life.

  2. It was just a normal day when I saw my neighbor working in his garage with no shirt on. I continued walking by without saying anything. I had always admired my neighbor, but he never seemed to notice me. The next day I had planned to actually say "hey" to him. That night I was playing around on the computer when I crossed this site that talked about body swapping with other people. I thought "wouldn't it be cool to be my neighbor." I looked more into the site and found many different formulas to mix together for each person to drink or eat to make the swap possible. I picked one and mixed it.

The next morning I was walking to school and I saw him working in his garage again. I said "hey" and waved. He looked up with sweat on his face and smiled and said "hey." "Dude, can you help me really quick," he said. I agreed and walked into his garage. He told me to hold a board while he tried to chop it. I did so.

When he was finished I asked him if he wanted a bottle of water- that's what I had put the formula in. He said yes and stretched his arm out. I pulled it out of my bag and handed it to him. I pulled out another bottle of water and drank, also. When we had both finished I told him that I had to go and quickly ran off. As I was walking down the street I began to feel very light-headed. I sat down on the curb to see if it would ease up some. Somewhere in the process I passed out. When I woke back up I was laying on a couch. "What happened? Where am I?" I thought. I stood up and looked around. I felt larger and taller. I looked in the mirror and saw my neighbor staring back at me with a look of horror in his eyes- it then turned to happiness. I looked down at my new body. It really worked! A few moments after I heard someone banging on the door. I walked over and opened it. It was me-or who I used to be...
